Everything is a product now.

Oh that’s a neat small wrapper around a super useful but sharp tool you’ve build there. Sure give it a cool name and release it as a package. Now you gotta account for way more use-cases, and generalise that little wrapper to handle those. You better make sure it works across many systems too.

Or just copy paste that small wrapper and adjust it to your needs.

This is what the JS (and others) ecosystem feels like these days.
